What if you traveled halfway across the country to escape the ghosts of your past, and they followed you?
Darrell Henshaw, teacher and coach, flees to a quaint, small town on the Chesapeake, thinking he’s found the perfect escape. That is, until he learns the town hides an ugly secret—a thirty-year-old murder at the high school.
And a frightening ghost.
You see, Darrell sees ghosts—though he’s not happy about it. He doesn’t want to get involved, but the ghost stalks him, and in the end, Darrell concedes. He and his new love Erin follow a trail that leads to the civil rights movement, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and even the Klu Klux Klan. When two locals who try to help are murdered, Darrell has to make a decision.
Is he willing to risk his life—and the life of the woman he loves—to expose the killers of a young man he never knew?
